Hey there. My name is Rocco Pallotto, host of the Merf Morning Show. I grew up in Asbury Park, NJ, and graduated from Lock Haven University. When I’m not here, you’ll usually find me reading, listening to music and/or watching sports with at least one, if not both of our Beagles, on my lap. Archie and Thumper are their names.
Fav teams? Los Angeles Dodgers, New England Patriots, Miami Heat, Notre Dame football and my beloved Marquette Golden Eagles in college basketball.
Fav music? Where to start. Rick Springfield, matt Nathanson, John Waite and Danny Wilde form my Mount Rushmore of solo male artists. As for the women, Patty Smythe (Scandal), Pat Benatar, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Rae Jepsen are at the top. Bands? AC/DC for sure. INXS is right there as are Collective Soul and Survivor.
My wife Melissa and I have two wonderful sons, Bret and Eric. Bret writes for the Centre Daily Times. He and his beautiful wife Emily have a baby, Elio Fletcher. Eric just completed his Masters and is working on his Doctorate..
