THE ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE MORNING SHOWS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER – HOW WILL YOU HELP THIS YEAR?

You’ve donated more than a quarter of a million dollars over the years! That money has helped so many people in our area through the efforts of our local Salvation Army.

Let’s get together and do some more good!

The annual Battle of the Morning Show is set for Friday, December 1, from 11-1, in downtown Lewistown, right on the square. This is the event where the Merf Morning Show team takes on a couple of other stations from our building, as we try to outraise each other with all the money combining to help our neighbors, friends and families in need via our local Salvation Army.

Here’s where you come in. We will be accepting donations during the aforementioned time frame. You can stop by and just donate what you can at the time or, even better, plan a fundraiser starting now with plans to drop off the money during the event.

More Time = More Money.

Our friends at the Mifflin County Middle School are back to help defending champion Rocco Pallotto and the Merf Morning Show team with their annual Tally Your Turkeys event. And our local Burger Kings will be donating 50 cents from every Whopper sold Black Friday weekend again this year!

We have a bunch of other area businesses helping, too! Listen in for details on those!

Can you help with a fundraiser, big or small, of some sort?

Want a tabletop kettle to help fundraise? Call Rocco Pallotto at (717) 248-6757.

It can be as simple or as elaborate as you’d like. The only thing is that all of the money has to be in by 12:59 p.m. on December 1st for it to count in the Battle.

Here’s the other thing, if you are hosting a fundraiser of some sort, please let us know. We can talk about it on-air which a) may help you raise more money and b) may spur someone else to do something, too!

Email Rocco Pallotto with any questions or to let us know how you will be helping this year. Thanks in advance for your support in this, the biggest fundraiser our Seven Mountains Media Lewistown stations are involved with throughout the entire year!
