Two former East Juniata stars were a part of this year’s Division III runner-up squad, Messaih University!

Falcons senior Jadyn Martin (right) and freshman Kolten Martin (left) both pitched this season for Messiah, who ended the season in the NCAA D3 Championship Series, where the Falcons fell to Wisconsin-Whitewater. This was Messiah’s first-ever appearance in the World Series.

Jaydyn pitched to a 3.86 ERA this season with a stellar .86 WHIP. Kolten’s WHIP was also above-average, at .67. They both averaged over a sstrikeout per inning despite limited work out of the bullpen. Jadyn did start one game this season.
