Kylee Cubbison is a junior at Bowling Green State University.

Back in 2022, as a Mifflin County senior, Kylee set Huskies’ school records in the 1,600 and 3,200., placing fifth in the latter and sixth in the former at the 2022 PIAA State Track & Field Championships.

So it should come as no surprise that she is doing incredible things, and setting more records, at the collegiate level.

This school year alone, between cross country, indoor and outdoor track, Kylee has set five BGSU records. Five!

• Indoor mile (4:42.53, broken at the GVSU Big Meet)

• Indoor 3,000-meter (9:25.00, broken at Notre Dame’s Meyo Invitational)

• Indoor DMR (distance medley relay) (11:21.85, broken at the GVSU Big Meet)

• Outdoor 1,500m (4:16.73, broken at Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Classic)

• Outdoor 5,000m (16:03.81, broken at NC State’s Raleigh Relays)

Kylee was a second-team All-MAC runner in cross country and first-team All-MAC during the indoor season. She will comepete in the outdoor MAC Championships this Thursday-Saturday (May 15-17).
