Congratulations are in order for Juniata men’s track and field athlete Barrett Walters! The Juniata High School alum has been named Landmark Athlete of the Week for Field Events following his event win in the weight throw that saw him set a new Juniata program record in the process! 

Walters threw 15.65 meters on his last attempt in the finals of the weight throw to win at this weekend’s Susquehanna Tuneup ahead of the Landmark Conference Track and Field Championships. He had previously set a 14.96-meter mark at last year’s Landmark Championships, the program’s second-best mark up to that point!
