Geisinger Lewistown Hospital’s first baby of the New Year was welcomed to the world on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 9:49 a.m. by parents Erica and Nathan House of Mount Union, Huntingdon County. Finlee Nadine Kay House came in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce and 20 inches in length.
With an induction date scheduled for Jan. 1, there was a strong possibility that Finlee was going to be born on a holiday. The proud parents, 6 siblings and their loved ones excitedly talked about their bundle of joy arriving on New Year’s Day.
“We came into the hospital on Jan. 1 and saw babies in the nursery,” said Erica. “We thought one of those babies was born on New Year’s until we learned that they arrived on Dec. 31. Then Miss Finlee arrived first in 2024.”
Congratulations to Erica, Nathan and the entire House family on the birth of Finlee!
