Hey, Sam here! Nice to meet you! I am approximately one year old. I weigh around 70 pounds. I could stand to gain about 5 pounds, but I’m still a very strong boy! I was found as a stray. Hard to believe no one was looking for this handsome face! I do need some training and help with being a respectable boy. I am a goofball and enjoy leisurely running after a ball if you throw it. I do know how to sit and am eager to shake your hand, so I do have some manners and can easily be taught. When on a leash, I do tend to pull like a freight train. The other dogs here get me very excited and I do bark at them. I haven’t been introduced to any other dogs here, because I can be a bit of a handful. Once I am settled into a home of my own and have had some obedience training, I may just like having a dog friend! I would do well with older children, but may accidentally knock over younger ones and I do play rough. I do enjoy snuggles and giving kisses!
Let’s play ball! Call soon so we can meet!
For approximately 10 years, Perry County Animal Rescue (PCoAR) has been sheltering lost and unwanted animals from Juniata and Perry Counties until a new home is found or we can reunite them with their owners. We promote responsible pet ownership through education, vaccination, spay/neuter, licensing and general pet care.
