During the Red Flash Invitational at St. Francis University, the Mifflin County Huskies Girls Cross Country Team took 3rd out of 11 teams, whiles the boys won the meet.

 

Huskies Soccer took home a win from Huntingdon 4-1.

 

Juniata Indians Girls Soccer beat Halifax 7-1.

 

The Indians Volleyball team also had a win over Williamsport 3-2.

 

East Juniata Tigers Girls Soccer beat Bloomsburg 2-1.

 

Aaron Reutzel passed Lance Dewease after a lap 25 competition yellow and never looked back to claim the $52,000 prize to close out the 167th Annual Juniata County Fair and put his name in the history books as the winner of the 52nd Annual Tuscarora 50.

 

The Penn State Nittany Lions overcame an early upset to defeat the Buffalo Bulls 45-13 at Beaver Stadium.

 

In the minor leagues, Cedric Mullins hit for the cycle, as the Bowie Baysox topped the Harrisburg Senators 12-5.  The Baysox now advance to the Eastern League Championship.

 

Carson Wentz threw a pair of deep touchdown passes to Jackson, and the Philadelphia Eagles overcame a 17-point deficit to beat the Washington Redskins 32-27

 

Tom Brady got 341 yards and three touchdown passes as the Patriots beat Pittsburgh 33-3.

 

The Cardinals Jack Flaherty overwhelmed the Pittsburgh Pirates in a 2-0 victory, striking out 10 against five hits and a walk over eight innings.

 

Maikel Franco, Scott Kingery, and Adam Haseley homered as Philadelphia overcame an early deficit and outlasted the Mets 10-7.
