The ACC yesterday voted to proceed with an 11-game schedule for football this fall, assuming health guidelines allow. All ACC schools, and Notre Dame, will play 10 conference games and one non-conference game of its choice.
Rutgers football, out of the Big 10, has been ordered to quarantine for 14 days after 15 players tested positive for coronavirus, following an on-campus party when the team returned to school.
Fellow Big 10 school Penn State has conducted 466 tests since student-athletes have returned with eight positive results. Sixty-six test results are still pending.
