Harrisburg’s girls beat Mifflin County last night, 58-51. Katelyn Knable with 14 to pace the Huskies in defeat. Also last night, East Juniata’s boys got 16 points from Billy Dressler in beating Susquenita, 55-33. Juniata’s boys, meanwhile, knocked off Line Mountain, 45-21.
The Indians wrestling team lost to Bald Eagle Area, 53-18. Juniata did get falls from Tyson Aurand and Taylor Smith.
Tonight, Mifflin County hosts Central Dauphin . Both teams are unbeaten in Mid-Penn Commonwealth action so this match could end up determining the league champion. And just two players were elected into baseball’s Hall of Fame this year. Derek Jeter, who spent his entire playing career with the Yankees, fell just one vote short of being only the second ever unanimous selection.
