Hi. Please call me Ida. I was left behind when my human went away on an unscheduled trip. I kept getting loose to visit the neighbors and finally ended up here. Much better than where I was all winter! I am approximately 5 to 6 years old. I am a Labrador mix. I am a bit unsure of people when I first meet them but with time I warm up, though small children make me nerve.
I get walks here and enjoy them! I do still pull some on leash. I like to play with toys and play catch. I am a sweet, loving dog with people once I know I can trust them.
I am working on my year anniversary here and over that time I have met many people and I am getting better with this. I would make a great partner for outdoor activities. Hiking would be great. I have decided I would prefer to be your one and only though. No other dogs or cats.
I have had no accidents in my kennels since arrival. I weigh around 60lbs, a healthy weight. I am not a barker, chewer or digger. I enjoy snuggles and cuddle times too! I hope I am just what you are looking for! Call Perry County Animal Rescue soon so we can meet!
For approximately 10 years, Perry County Animal Rescue (PCoAR) has been sheltering lost and unwanted animals from Juniata and Perry Counties until a new home is found or we can reunite them with their owners. We promote responsible pet ownership through education, vaccination, spay/neuter, licensing and general pet care.
