Greenwood Furnace Folk Gathering is a wonderful weekend of playing, singing, jamming, dancing, and listening to folk music. There are activities for all levels from non-musician to advanced players, and all ages from mature children to adults are welcome. Come and enjoy the friendly, relaxed setting at a beautiful state park. Forty-six different workshops in 8 time-slots cover a wide range of musical styles and interests, plus 2 concerts, a contra and square dance, plus lots of formal and informal opportunities to jam. 

There will be a free staff concert at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday evenings, followed by staff-led jams. Following the Saturday concert is a free contradance with an open band on Saturday night. Also free are the Heritage Musician Presentation at 1:15 pm on Saturday and the Hymn Sing on Sunday at 9 am.

All other workshops require registration and a fee.  For those who only want to take one or two workshops, please get in touch with the festival about pricing. Act 48 credit is available for PA school teachers.
