On October 15th, 1938, Warner Brothers opened The State Theatre as a test market for new films. Today, The State Theatre hosts second-run movies on Mondays at 3pm & 7pm.
Our Monday Movie Series is supported by our Reel Fans. Our Reel Fans members established this program in 2015 and are dedicated to supporting film programming at The State Theatre. There are lovers of every genre in our midst. We like to get off the beaten path of the top-grossing movies from time to time. A donation of $100 or more gives you free access to our Monday Movie Series, a small popcorn, your name listed in our monthly program, and input in our movie selection process. See below for details about each event in our fall series.
