Mifflin County High Mini-THON presidents Rainie Miner and Cassie Himes stopped by the Merf Morning Show to tell us all about the upcoming Mini-THON, which helps benefit the fight again pediatric cancer. You can listen to that interview on-demand below. The Mini-THON runs from 2-10 on Saturday, April 15th and is open to all MCSD students grades 8-12. There will be sports tournaments, games, music and more.
Last year, the groups goal was $20,000 and they made a whopping $48,000! This year, they are shooting for $30,000. If you can make a donation, large or small, please click here ASAP.
There will be two community hours that the public can attend. Children’s Hour will be from 2-3 and we will have special activities for the kids during this time. The second public hour is between 9-10 and this will be our final reveal of what the club raised this year for the Four Diamonds Foundation. Mini-THON and the larger PSU THON all benefit the Four Diamonds Foundation that not only funds research for pediatric cancer, but also 100% covers the expenses of families with children fighting cancer who are being treated at Penn State Health.
