They ended up canceling the remainder of the West Liberty Invitational due to the weather but, before they called it a day, Washington & Jefferson’s Anna Stroup (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata) recorded the top time in the 100 hurdles prelims and was eighth in the 100m prelims.

Juniata College’s baseball team was swept by Scranton by Evan Mock (Strodes Mills, Pa./Mifflin County) played well in defeat for the Eagles, picking up four hits, scoring four runs, driving in one and staling a base. The teams combined for 84 runs in the three-game series.

Penn State’s Mallory Kauffman (Millerstown, Pa./greenwood) won the discus and was fourth in the shot at the Florida Relays.

Penn State Harrisburg’s Will Tyson (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) placed in the top half of the field (25th) in the discus and 32nd in the shot at the Millersville Metrics.

Penn State Dubois split a pair with Penn State Fayette. One of several former Mifflin County players on the team, Dubois’ Bryce Dobson had a nice day, getting three hits, while driving in three and scoring two.
