We all know how expensive medical, dental and vision care can be. Even with insurance. It can get costly in a hurry.

Remote Area Medical, a major non-profit provider of pop-up medical clinics, is coming close by, to Spring Mills in Centre County, on March 25th and March 26th.. Organized by Penn State Remote Area Medical, the clinic will be providing free dental, vision, and medical care to anyone in need, no matter where you call home. Everyone, from everywhere, is invited to stop by for the assistance they need.

All services are offered on a first-come, first served basis, and no ID is required. On average, RAM services provide $300 worth of free health, vision, and dental services per individual.

Leading up to the event, RAM is looking for healthcare volunteers, sponsors (monetary or resources), and general volunteers willing to help with transportation, people who would like to become a part of this important cause. The group is  offering free lodging (limited to healthcare volunteers, providers in dental/vision/medical care and qualified healthcare student groups with faculty supervisors) options to anyone from out of town, and will provide meals for volunteers, too.

For more information generally about the clinic, please visit Penn State RAM’s site, email info@ramusa.org, or call (865) 579-1530.
