You know, I was just thinking. Thinking of how much I’m looking forward to a forever home of my own. A home where I can be spoiled and loved by my very own human. I’m a sweet girl named Amarissa who likes other pets. I’m vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, litter box trained and ready to head out the doors of the shelter into your home. Can’t you just picture it now? Waking up to this beautiful face of mine every day. I know we belong together.

If interested, get in contact with the Huntingdon County Humane Society. At HCHS, they care about the future of these animals. They help homeless pets find their loving and forever homes, by educating the public after the safety and welfare of animals. All their shelter pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. For more information on any of HCHS’s adoptable animals give them a call at 814-643-7387.

Remember, getting a pet is a years-long commitment, not just a Christmas present. Make sure you adopt the pet that is right for you not just now, but year-round.
