Field hockey has always been a bigtime favorite in this area and boy have we produced some great players over the years. Adding to the local history are three players that are ready to shine in the coming season.
Paityn Wirth, out of Greenwood High School, is a senior for North Carolina. The Penn State transfer has played two seasons for the Tar Hells, appearing in 29 games, scoring eight goals and adding 12 assists.

Lydia Hidlay (Mifflin County High School) enters her sophomore season at Susquehanna. She appeared in 17 games, scoring a goal and an assist, in her first season with the River Hawks.
Coletta Beeler, also out of Mifflin County, is a goal keeper for Central Michigan. She appeared in three games last season, stopping seven shots.
Also, getting ready to start her college career, is Mifflin County alum Madi Rowe (Misericordia).
