Geisinger Medical Clinic Reedsville is officially open to serve patients, having welcomed its first patients on Monday, Aug. 1. The clinic includes primary care, lab and radiology services and an on-site pharmacy, as well as the 10th Geisinger 65 Forward location.

The place is huge – 31,724-square-feet withf 34 exam rooms, with 24 designated for primary care and 10 to serve 65 Forward patients.

Primary care hours are:

  • Monday – Tuesday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

“This facility represents our mission of making better health easier for patients of the Reedsville community and beyond,” said Kirk Thomas, chief administration officer for Geisinger’s western region. “Our patients’ health will benefit from an array of services all in one place. You can come to Reedsville to find the quality care you expect — close to home.”

The medical lab is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted, and anyone needing lab services isn’t required to be a patient at Geisinger Medical Clinic Reedsville. Services include blood draws, general diagnostics, ultrasounds, X-rays and other imaging. The on-site pharmacy is slated to open in January 2023.

Geisinger 65 Forward Reedsville will open to patients age 65+ in October. Available to Geisinger Gold (Medicare Advantage) members, 65 Forward offers appointment times of up to 60 minutes as well as access to wellness, fitness and social activities in a relaxing environment. Patients work with wellness coordinators to choose from individual workouts or class settings and can participate in various social activities in the community room. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
