You wanna talk about an amazing group of people? How about Patriot Riders Chapter 53?

As of this Saturday (June 11), the group will have given away more than 1,000 free bicycles to area children over the last few years!

As part of Motorcycle Safety & Awareness Day, the Patriot Riders give away free bicycles to area children.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 11, from 10am until 5pm at the Mifflin County Youth Park. Each child, from toddlers all the way to 16-year-olds, will receive two chance to win a bike. Each winner will receive a helmet,  courtesy of Freeburn and Hamilton Law Offices. And all children will get a free ice cream.

There will be fire trucks, a race car, a martial arts demonstration with the infamous Bed of Nails, a blind spot demonstration, a bike show where the children pick the winner, a hand-print banner where the children pledge not to text and drive when they get older and a whole lot more.

Plan on stopping out this Saturday! Who knows, you’re kiddos may win a new bicycle!
