It’s just about time for Mifflin County High School’s annual drama club performace. This year, it’s “High School Musical.” Showtimes at the Mifflin County High School Auditorium are:

  • Friday, February 18 at 6:30
  • Saturday, February 19 at 12:30 and 6:30
  • Sunday February 20 at 1

Tickets are $10 per person. Doors will open for ticket sales one hour prior to each show. Cash or check only.

Based on the 2006 Disney Channel original movie, this musical follows the developing relationship between basketball star Troy and new girl, Gabriella. Having met and bonded during summer vacation, Troy and Gabriella are reunited at the beginning of the school year. When they decide to audition for the school musical together, they meet resistance from mean girl and former leading lady Sharpay, her brother, and even their friends. Appropriate for all ages– the young and the young-at-heart included!

First, let’s get to know the cast! Troy Bolton is played by Gunnar Wagner (left). Lily Riden (center) stars as Gabriella Montez. And, starring as the foil to the happy couple, Cassie Himes (right) as Sharpay Evans.
