Scoter arrived at the rescue as a stray. He is a young, wild child. A sweet boy with a lot of spunk. Not the most outwardly affectionate but he could be, given the chance to trust and create a bond with someone. He can be a bit “mouthy” when playing, but he can be redirected with a toy and he responds well. Scoter has some manners, but he will need patience and work. He will do best as the only dog in a household. He will definitely be a great, loyal companion.

Perry County Animal Rescue (PCoAR) was started in 2009 because of love for animals. Our core mission is to shelter lost and unwanted animals from Juniata and Perry Counties until a new home is found. PCoAR promotes responsible pet ownership.
