The Keystone State has pumped out some serious talent over the years. Taylor Swift (Reading), Pink (Doylestown), Mr. Rogers (Latrobe) and, of course, we all know Will Smith was west Philadelphia born and raised.

Anyway, here are some stars that are from PA that you may or may not know where from right here!

Dan Hartman was born and raised in Dauphin County. He had a Top 10 hit in “I Can Dream About You” and a Top 30 hit in “Instant Replay”.  He also wrote and and sang on “Free Ride” with the Edgar Winter Group.

That’s right, Alice, the Brady Bunch‘s housekeeper spent some time growing up in PA. Ann B. Davis was actually born in Schenectady, New York, but, when she was three, she and her family moved to Erie.

Cheri Oteri (Upper Darby) has done any number of projects but the one that most of us remember her for is playing Arianna, a member of The Spartan Cheerleaders (with Will Ferrell) on Saturday Night Live.

Kelly Monaco (Philadelphia) is probably best known for her portrayal of ‘Sam McCall’ on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital” and as the first season winner of the reality TV competition series “Dancing with the Stars.” (Reuters)

Steve Burns (Boyertown), the OG host of Blue’s Clues is from Berks County.

Amanda Seyfried is an amazing actress, starring in movies like Seyfried has Mamma Mia!, Jennifer’s Body, Chloe), A Million Ways to Die in the West, Things Heard & Seen.and so many more. And she’s from Allentown! 

One of his generation’s most popular and successful authors, Dean Koontz was born in Everett! He has published over 100 novels and has sold over 450 million copies of his work.

Nancy Kulp (‘Jane Hathaway’ on “The Beverly Hillbillies”) was born in Harrisburg but her family moved to Mifflintown when she was a child. As a matter of fact, her final resting place is Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery in Mifflintown.

Train is a San Francisco-based band but lead singer Pat Monahan? PA born and bred, baby! Pat grew up in Erie and went to Edinboro University.

The late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of TLC was from Philadelphia. Sadly, we lost her in a plane crash back in 2002. Her music lives on, though.

Jeff Goldblum has starred in some huge movies, “Independence Day” being one of our favs. He was born in West Homestead, Pennsylvania, located just outside of Pittsburgh.
