Sydney Cauffman  (Millerstown/Greenwood High School) played all 90 minutes on defense, helping the Lock Haven University women’s soccer team (1-0) come from behind to beat Pitt-Johnstown (0-1), 2-1.

The Pirates, meanwhile, scored two in the ninth to tie it but lost to the Chicago Cubs in 11, 6-5.

Down on the farm, Harrisburg’s comeback fell just short, as Erie beat the Senators, 6-5. Akron shut out Altoona, 5-0.

Fourth-ranked Ohio State opened its season with a 45-31 win over Minnesota. Tomorrow, #19 Penn State plays at 12th-rated Wisconsin.
