A huge series starts up in Philadelphia as the Phillies welcome in the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The Phillies enter tonight’s contest on an eight-game win streak while the Dodgers are eight games better in the win column. Max Scherzer gets the start for Los Angeles, Aaron Nola for the home team.

Atlanta and New York, who aren’t that far in back of Philadelphia in the NL East, get Cincinnati and Washington, respectively.

The Pirates, meanwhile, continue to toil away as the NL Central’s last place team. The Bucs host St. Louis today.
