Wrangle In the Wild” is an amateur wrestling event that is founded by Joey Bender, Trent Hidlay, and Hayden Hidlay. It will be held at Body & Soul Community Center in McVeytown.

The Hidlays, along with co-founder Joey Bender, stopped by the Merf Morning Show to talk about the event.

The wrestling card will consist of youth, high school, and previous MC alum wrestlers. current North Carolina State stars Hayden and Trent are team captains and they have picked teams for the event.

Hayden’s team is sponsored by Nittany Paper and his team name is “Ultra Matmen”. Trent’s team is sponsored by Smeltz and Aumiller and is called “Roof Raisers”. Full matchup list below.

There’s nothing these two won’t compete in. Arm wrestling, paper rock scissors, thumb wrestling, you name it.

The event will be streamed live on Rokfin for those who can’t make it to the event in person. Hayden and Trent will commentate the matches on the livestream and Joey Bender will be the Emcee for the event. Hayden and Trent are also going to wrestle each other for the main event as the last match!

Their is a $5 admission fee at the door or you can stream it online on Rokfin. The Hidlays say their goal for this event is to bring the community together for a fun night of wrestling and to give back to the area that has supported them throughout their careers.

There will be raffles at the event with proceeds donated to Mifflin County elementary wrestling.
