Mifflin County continues its efforts to correct a clerical error in the Democrat ballots for Tuesday’s primary election. The Court of Common Pleas has granted Mifflin County’s petition, ordering the elections department to accept all mail-in ballots postmarked on or before May 17th, and delivered by the Post Office to the Mifflin County Board of Elections on or before May 25th at 5:00 p.m. Additionally, mail-in ballots can be hand-delivered to the drop box inside the Mifflin County Courthouse until 8:00 pm on Election Day. To ensure that no voter is deprived the constitutional right to vote, Mifflin County will not void ballots that have already been cast by Democrat mail-in voters.
