The Eagles traded up two spots to take Alabama receiver Devonta Smith with the 10th overall pick in last night’s first round of the NFL Draft. Another ‘Bama wide out, Najee Harris, went to the Steelers with the 24th pick. The Crimson Tide had six players go in the first round. Penn State, meanwhile, had two; linebacker Micah Parsons (left, USA Today Sports) to Dallas and edge rusher Jayson Oweh (right, USA Today Sports) to Baltimore.

A wild pitch by Phillies’ reliever David Hale allowed St. Louis’s Tyler O’Neill to score in the bottom of the 10th, giving the Cardinals a 4-3 win over the Fightin’s yesterday.
