Two Mifflin County High School varsity baseball players, Rylan Bailey and Connor Cherry, are hosting a Home Run Derby as part of their senior project. Rain forced its postponement twice so they’re going to give it another shot on Sunday, April 18.

The event will take place on Sunday, April 18 at the Milroy Babe Ruth field. Start time is 2 p.m. and there are 4 age groups:

  • 8-10 years olds (2-3 p.m.)
  • 11-12 years olds (3-4 p.m.)
  • 13-15 years olds (4-5 p.m.)
  • 16 and up (starts at 5 p.m.)

This derby is ‘bring your own pitcher.’ All registrations are day-of and cost $15 with proceeds benefiting local travel teams (Mifflin County Eagles and Jack’s Mountain).
