It’s Opening Day in Major League Baseball. Weather-permitting, all 30 teams are scheduled to take the field. Aaron Nola gets the start for the Phillies against Atlanta, while the Pirates send Chad Kuhl to the mound to take on the Chicago  Cubs.

Six area wrestlers (pictured below) will compete at the Keystone State Championships: 12u’s Layten Bowersox and Paxton Shawver, 10u Rocky Johnson and 8u’s Kenneth Swartzell, Cain Lynch and Nolan Harmon. The state tournament will take place in Monroeville today through Saturday.

And Buffalo finally won a game, snapping a record 18-game streak.  The Sabres soundly defeated the Flyers last night, 6-1.
