Authorities have identified the victim from Saturday night’s two-vehicle fatal crash in Juniata County. According to State Police, 63-year-old Delores Boozel of Port Royal was the driver of a Chevy Monte Carlo on Route 35 in Fayette Township. Her auto spun out of control on the icy roadway just before 10:00 pm, crossing the center line and into the path of an Oldsmobile Bravada driven by Brenda Hunter of McAlisterville. Boozel died from injuries she sustained in the crash. Two passengers, Heather Hockenberry of Port Royal and Joseph Burns of Honey Grove, were transported for injuries. Hunter was not injured in the collision.
A Selinsgrove woman was arrested after making terroristic threats over the weekend in Snyder County. State Police say 47-year-old Dawn Campbell was arrested Saturday night at the Valley Lodge Hotel on North Susquehanna Trail in Monroe Township. Police responded to a 911 hang-up call. Officers discovered Campbell had threatened several individuals, and assaulted a 62-year-old Selinsgrove man and threatened him with a knife. Further investigation located a witness-described knife in Campbell’s room. She was placed in the Snyder County Prison on $10,000 bail.
