Juniata’s boys basketball team defeated cross-county rival East Juniata last evening, 49-41. Emmanuel O’Donell led the Indians with 15 points. Tanner Barth had 16 to pace the Tigers.

Also last night, Juniata Valley’s girls got 16 points from Makenna Hartman and 12 more from Olivia Smith in beating Mount Union, 56-20. Camille Posey had 11 for the Trojans.
