Juniata’s boys basketball team lost a tough one last night. Upper Dauphin took down the Indians in overtime, 55-51.
In area wrestling, Central Dauphin doubled up Mifflin County, 40-20, and Juniata was beaten by West Perry, 66-6.
Speaking of wrestling, former Mifflin County state champs Hayden and Trent Hidlay will be on TV again tonight, the ACC Network, when their third-ranked NC State Wolfpack takes on #8 Virginia Tech.
Penn State’s Lady Lions outscored Nebraska 17-3 in the game’s final 3:17, pulling away for an 85-74 win last evening.
Sixers’ center Joel Embiid scored a game-high 37 but it was Portland that won the game last night, 121-105.
Off the court, LeBron James is the leading vote-getter so far in voting for the NBA’s all-star game. Philly’s Joel Embiid is third in Eastern Conference frontcourt balloting, with teammate Ben Simmons 10th among guards.
