Emmanuel O’Donnell scored 23 points to lead Juniata past Halifax, 61-34. The East Juniata boys basketball won too, besting Line Mountain. Wayne Dressler with a game-high 15 for the Indians in the 46-36 victory.

Trey Kibe, Nic Allison and Blake Aumiller all won by fall for Mifflin County’s wrestlers but Cumberland Valley took the match, 40-24. Juniata, meanwhile, beat Everett, 46-15, and Southern Huntingdon, 38-30.

The Penn State men’s hockey team scored in overtime, beating visiting Notre Dame last night, 2-1.

In the NHL, the Flyers beat New Jersey, 3-1, while Boston knocked off the Penguins, 4-1.

And the Mifflin County girls volleyball, girls tennis, girls soccer and football teams have all won Mid-Penn sportsmanship awards for the fall 2020 season.
