The Penn State women’s basketball team trimmed a 21-point deficit down to single digits, but Ohio State was able to hold on for an 82-69 win at Value City Arena.

Senior Alex Limoges scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season, but it wasn’t enough as Penn State Hockey dropped a 5-1 decision to Michigan State.

The American Volleyball Coaches Association released their preseason coaches poll.  Penn State came in at #11 on the Division I & II poll, while Juniata College came in at #15 in Division III.

Joel Embiid had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Tobias Harris scored 22 points and the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Charlotte Hornets 118-101 for their fourth straight win.
