Rue is a senior boy said to be a Westie/Coonhound cross. Do not let his age fool you… with the mention of the word, “ball”, he immediately turns into a puppy again! The key to being his best friend is throwing his tennis balls. It must be seen to be understood. Rue is house-trained and can follow basic commands such as sit, stay, down. If he hears the word ball, his ears perk up and he will fly to bring you one. Once comfortable in his surroundings, he will snuggle up and let you love him. He is great with children, cats, and dogs though a meet and greet would be required. Rue is part terrier…so he vocal & fast. He has a skin issue that requires weekly baths but it is clearing up nicely. This love bug needs a family who will be present and play with him.
