Hey everybody! My name’s Boh, I’m a 6 year old tri-colored male beagle. The folks at Nittany Beagle Rescue call me a big boy, I’m close to 50 lbs. but not overweight! Vets say I might be mixed with another type of hound, but they’re just not sure.
I’m a sweet guy whose been raised around infants, toddlers and other dogs. I do love my attention and affection too though! I’d love to curl up in bed with you but I am crate trained as well. Being outside is so much fun, whether it’s on a walk or just running around the yard. I will say, it will definitely need to be a fenced-in area or keep me on a leash, because my nose can get the best of me sometimes and take me on an adventure!

I’m strong and pull on my leash from time to time and I’m known to get excited with another dogs comes by. So I need someone who is strong enough to handle me. I’m neutered, up to date on my vaccines and house trained too. About 2 years ago I had my first seizure. I’m currently on medication 2x a day to help control them but I still suffer from one occasionally. Do you think we could be new best friends?

Meet Boh at Nittany Beagle Rescue. They’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of beagles in central Pennsylvania. They accept beagles from shelters and from owners who can no longer keep them and they work to find them loving, permanent homes.
