Greenwood takes on two-time defending champion Wyoming Seminary for the state’s single-A field hockey title tomorrow morning at 10. The Wildcats beat Seminary for the title back in 2017.
Penn State looks to avoid its first-ever 0-5 start when Iowa comes calling tomorrow afternoon. The Hawkeyes lost their first two by just four combined points but rebounded to beat Michigan State and Minnesota by an average of 35 points the last couple of weeks.
Eleventh-ranked Minnesota beat #10 Penn State, 4-1, in the season opener for each of those hockey programs. They’ll play again tonight.
And Seattle held on to beat Arizona in the NFL last night, 28-21, to take the lead in the NFC West with a 7-3 record. The Cardinals fall to 6-4. The L.A. Rams are 6-3 heading into Monday’s game with Tampa Bay.
