A big one in Happy Valley tomorrow, when #18 Penn State welcomes in third-ranked Ohio State. ESPN’s Game Day will be on-site but, thanks to COVID-19, will not have any fans on hand. Keep an eye on Lee Corso’s pick at the end of the show. Corso is 7-0 so far this season when donning the headgear.
In other college football news, Trevor Lawrence, quarterback of top-ranked Clemson, has come down with coronavirus and will miss tomorrow’s game against Boston College. His status for next week’s matchup with #4 Notre Dame is up in the air, as well.
Atlanta beat Carolina, 25-17, last night. Sunday, Pittsburgh puts the NFL’s only unbeaten record on the line when the 6-0 Steelers take on 5-1 Baltimore. Also on Sunday, at night, the Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys.
And NASCAR’s final Sprint Cup Round of 8 playoff race runs in Martinsville this weekend. Only Joey Logano has locked down a spot in the Championship 4 heading into Sunday afternoon.
