Mifflin County Huskies Girls Soccer advances to the District VI Championship game after defeating State College 3-1.

Mifflin County Huskies Field Hockey beat Chambersburg 3-1.

East Juniata Tigers Field Hockey lost to Greenwood 11-0.

Kyle Busch won the three-time-weather-delayed Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.  The victory was Busch’s first of the season, preserving a 16-year streak of winning at least one race per season, starting with his rookie year in 2005.

Tonight the NFC South takes centerstage to kick off Week 8.  For the second time in four weeks, the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers will clash.  This time, Matt Ryan leads the Falcons into Bank of America Stadium to face Teddy Bridgewater and the host Panthers starting at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday Night Football.
