The Eagles needed virtually all 60 minutes to beat the lowly New York Giants last night, scoring the game-winner with under a minute to go. Philly improves to 2-4-1 and, temporarily at least, moves into first place in the NFC East with the 22-21 victory. The Giants are 1-5.

Lower Dauphin shut out the Mifflin County boys soccer team, 6-0, while the Huskies’ field hockey team lost to State College, 4-1.

Better late than never, as they say. Penn State opens its football season at Indiana tomorrow. Kickoff is set for 3:30.

Mifflin County has canceled its indoor track and field season, due to space limitations and the restrictions in place due to the ongoing pandemic, as well as the cancellation of many invitationals the team would have competed in.
