Hunters pursuing deer across Pennsylvania, especially in areas with Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), can get answers to their questions this fall. The Pennsylvania Game Commission is offering a CWD hotline for hunters with questions about how to handle deer they harvest in Disease Management Areas (DMAs). The hotline number is 1-833-INFOCWD (1-833-463-6293). You can also reach the Game Commission via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. There is also a free Game Commission app – downloadable from the Apple store or Google Play – and a webpage where hunters can check if any deer harvested tested positive for CWD.
