Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder, he revealed during a radio interview yesterday. That shoulder also has a sprained AC joint. Roethlisberger’s status for Sunday’s divisional playoff game in Denver remains in limbo.

Penn State’s wrestling team remains number one in the latest polling. The 8-0 Lions top the list for the 12th straight week.

An overtime loss for the Penguins in Carolina last night. Hurricanes take the 3-2 victory. The Flyers take their turn on the ice tonight, hosting the Boston Bruins.

The Justin Henry Scholarship will take center stage at tonight’s boy’s basketball game between Mifflin County and State College. Also this evening, Penn State’s men’s basketball team travels to #24 Purdue this evening. The Nittany Lions are 10-7 overall, 1-3 in the Big Ten. The Boilermakers are 14-3 overall with a 2-2 conference mark. The Penn State Lady Lions, meanwhile, host Nebraska this evening.
