Vegas took a one-goal lead six minutes into in the third period before the Flyers tied it 66 seconds later. It was the Golden Knights that found the net one more time in this one though, scoring with a little more than two and a half minutes to play for the 3-2 victory in the City of Brotherly Love.

Six Big 10 schools are headed to the women’s NCAA basketball tournament. Penn State is not one of them. Like the Nittany Lions men’s team, the Lady Lions are NIT-bound. PSU hosts Radford in first round action this Thursday night.

The 76er’s get back to work tonight. Philly welcomes in Indiana, who is two games up on the Sixers in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.

Spring training baseball yesterday saw the Phillies beat Atlanta, 3-0. Baltimore beat Pittsburgh, 8-5.

And Mifflin County alum Isaiah Kearns will make his second start of the year for West Virginia University today. Kearns and his 5.79 ERA will take on Tennessee Tech tonight at seven.
