Juniata’s boys dropped one to Halifax last evening, 58-41. Devon Nealman with a team-high 12 for the Indians.

East Juniata also lost last evening, suffering an 83-35 loss to Millersburg. Xavier Clement led the Tigers with a baker’s dozen.

Central Dauphin beat the Mifflin County’s swimmers. The Husky girls lost, 92-75, while the boys dropped a 129-29 decision. Ella Stuck and Hannah Bonson each had a pair of individual wins for Mifflin County. Morgan Robinette also had a first place finish. All three of those swimmers teamed with Macy Becker for a pair of relay wins. Ethan Andrews had the lone individual win for the Husky boys.

The defending Super Bowl champions will try to continue their winning ways as underdogs this year, when the Eagles head to New Orleans to play the Saints in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4:40.

The Flyers held on to beat Dallas last night, 2-1. The victory snapped Philly’s eight-game losing streak.

And the Penn State men’s basketball lost in Nebraska last night. ‘Huskers 70, Lions 64.
