Mifflin County’s Tristin Lockett tossed a complete game three-hitter, striking out nine, as the Huskies’ defeated Carlisle, 6-1. Bryce Dobson drove in four for Mifflin County. Elsewhere, Fannett Metal shut out East Juniata, 10-0.

In area softball, Mifflin County got five RBI from Olivia Ahern, four from Josalynn Kibe and three more from Morgan Weston to lead the Huskies to a 19-1 win at Carlisle.

The Phillies finally got to the Mets, winning in New York last night, 6-0. The Pirates continued their struggles against Arizona, losing again, 11-2. That series wraps up this afternoon. The Fightin’s start up a series, at home, against Miami.

The 2019 NFL Draft gets its first round in this evening. Arizona owns the first overall pick. The Steelers select 20th, the Eagles 25th.

Altoona finally figured out Harrisburg, winning for the first time in six tries this year, 10-5 yesterday. The Senators are now to 16-3 on the year.

And the NBA says that Eastern Conference semifinal between the 76er’s and Toronto will start this Saturday. The Raptors host Games One and Two of the best-of-seven, on Saturday and Monday.
