State Police at Lewistown have charged an area man after an investigation which began in July.  Police say 53-year-old Randy Freet of Honey Grove attempted to intimidate a female victim to withhold testimony or information relating to a crime.  Freet was arrested on Monday.  Bail was set at $25,000.

 

Lewistown Borough Police arrested a Marysville man wanted on numerous charges by State Police.  Officers were informed 37-year-old Daniel Landrum was at 113 West Fourth Street in Lewistown on September 6th.  Landrum was wanted on an active warrant by State Police at Newport.  Charges include rape, sexual assault, strangulation, and aggravated indecent assault.  Landrum was taken into custody and transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility where he waived his right to an arraignment.
