Authorities continue to search for clues after a June burglary in Lewistown.  According to Borough Police, someone entered a home on Stoneroad Court June 18th and took a small Sentry safe containing currency along with a pink .380 caliber handgun in a Muddy Girl Camo case.  The handgun has been entered as stolen in the national database.  Anyone with information should contact the Lewistown Police Department at 717-248-6716.

 

A McClure woman has been charged with forgery after a five-month State Police investigation in Snyder County.  According to Police, 51-year-old Jane Kratzer used the account information of 80-year-old Mary Waddington of Salem, New Jersey between November, 2017 and April, 2018.  Kratzer conducted several transactions totaling more than $5,000.  She was arraigned and assigned $25,000 unsecured bail.

 

The Pennsylvania State Police will conduct child safety seat inspections tomorrow in Perry County.  Inspections will be held from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm Wednesday (July 11th) at 155 Red Hill Road in Newport.  Call 717-567-3110 to schedule an appointment.

 

The American Red Cross will be in Juniata and Perry Counties for three blood drives today.  The bloodmobile will be at Bunkertown Church of the Brethren on Bunkertown Road in McAlisterville from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  The Red Cross will also be at Richfield UMC on Church Street from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm.  A third drive will be at American Legion Post #364 on North Pine Street in Liverpool from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
