HELP IS NEEDED FOR THE EAST END 4-H COMMUNITY CLUB

A new opportunity for the youth of Mifflin County has been slated to begin this April in Milroy, PA and based at the Siglersville Men’s Club. Clint and Angel Lauver of Milroy have organized a 4-H club to be called the East End 4-H Community Club. They are looking to provide experiences to the 4-H members on Outdoor Survival Skills and First Aid, Outdoor Cooking and Campfire building, Camping and Hiking, Wildlife and Fishing.

The Lauver’s hope to get the 4-H members involved in these unique and interesting project areas and provide the youth with life skill development that will contribute to a positive future for the youth as they grow. The East End 4-H Community club will also be providing lessons and 4-H projects such as woodworking, baking, sewing, rocketry, cake decorating and babysitting.

Anyone who is interested in learning more about how to get involved in the East End 4-H Community Club can contact the Extension Office in Lewistown at 717-248-918. The East End 4-H Community club invites any youth who is interested in getting involved to come out to their meetings at the Siglerville Men’s Club on the 1st Wednesday’s of the month at 6:00PM. They hope to see you there!
